Ensuring Your Training Plan is Compliant

Developing A Robust Apprenticeship Training Plan

The training plan outlines how the apprentice will be supported to successfully achieve the apprenticeship. It must be signed by the apprentice, their employer and the provider and all parties must retain a current signed and dated version.

A compliant training plan is a complex document and during the course of our audit work, we regularly see examples of non-compliant training plans or poor practice.

At this seminar we will consider:

  • What a training plan is for and why it is important
  • What must be included within the Training plan to meet the Funding Rules requirements
  • The different delivery models and their impact on off-the-job training requirements
  • How to create a robust training plan & schedule
  • The effect of RPLE on the training plan
  • Documenting functional skills within the training plan
  • The requirements in updating the training plan
