Adapting Effectively to the New Funding Rules for 2026/27

This seminar will focus on the apprenticeship funding rules and requirements for 2026/27
This is an easy-to-follow seminar, which is suitable for beginners and those wanting to understand how the funding methodology works in more detail. We will look at all of the changes to the funding rules for 2026/27, regulations and guidance impacting on apprenticeships. If you have a firm grasp of the 2025/26 funding rules then our shorter seminar ‘rule changes 2026/27 and how to respond to them’ is likely to be more appropriate.
The seminar format encourages delegate participation and aims to ensure that attendees get reliable guidance and advice on the effective implementation of funding rules.
As part of the day’s agenda we will:
- Improve your understanding of DfE expectations around initial assessment, planning OTJ delivery, prior learning, negotiated price and TNP values and the evidence pack requirements for an audit.
- Discuss funding bands, the timing of payments, co-investment, incentives, learning support, care learners and English and maths.
- Discuss DfE funding rule changes for 2026/27 and provide guidance on their implications.
Led by an experienced member of the Solvendis Audit, Data and Compliance team the seminar will be of particular relevance to independent training providers, employer providers, universities and colleges.
