Essential Learning for Providers Completing IAG

This Level 3 accredited qualification is intended for those who provide information, advice and guidance to clients, learners, apprentices, employees or service users as part of their role. It is suitable for those working in post-16 education, apprenticeships, employability, learner support, careers support, customer support, coaching, mentoring, pastoral support or wider advice and guidance services.
We anticipate that delegates will already be working in a role where they support individuals to access information, make informed choices, overcome barriers and progress towards education, employment, training or personal development goals. Delegates may be experienced practitioners looking to gain a recognised qualification, or professionals who have moved into an advice, guidance, learner support or progression-focused role as part of their wider responsibilities.
Through participation in this important strand of the Solvendis Teaching Excellence programme, you will complete taught workshops, a dedicated portfolio clinic, portfolio activities and assessment tasks designed to help you develop and evidence your advice and guidance practice. The programme will support you to explore effective communication with clients, support clients to make use of advice and guidance services, understand key legislation and organisational procedures, maintain appropriate information materials, promote Careers Education and Guidance, and review your own contribution to the service.
