A Coaching Approach for Education and Training

Coaching and mentoring skills are something that are vital in many aspects of the educational setting.  This can be teacher to student, but also manager to staff, or even experienced staff to new starters.

The coaching and mentoring approach is different to the usual classroom setting and structure, but can also add some real value. Throughout this session we will explore different coaching strategies, tools and frameworks and develop a toolset to take and try with our learners.

This session is ideal for trainers and managers who are looking to increase their knowledge and skillset, specifically in areas of planning.  This session can also be very useful for people in ‘coaching’ and support roles to help develop a suitable approach and structure for their learners.  This masterclass is also a very useful CPD session for more experienced teachers, trainers and managers who may be mentoring newer teachers/trainers or carrying out session observations.
