A Guide to Producing the Annual Report

Producing the Annual Report of the Audit & Risk Committee

The DfE, through the Financial Handbook for ITPs, require or recommend that all providers with a DfE income exceeding £1m should establish an Audit & Risk Committee (ARC).  The DfE also recommend that the Audit & Risk Committee should publish its own Annual Report.

At this seminar, we will be:

  • Reminding ourselves of DfE requirements and recommendations
  • Discussing reporting expectations for Year 1 and how the Annual Report should develop in future years
  • Considering the approach which providers should take to the completion of the Annual Report
  • Sharing our thoughts on what should be included in your Annual Report
  • Looking at the ideal production and publication timescales

The core content of the workshop will be the consideration of a fully drafted Annual Report which will run to 10 -12 pages.  We will consider the content in each section of the template Annual Report, and delegates will be given a word version of the template to use as guidance .
