In light of the publication of new guidance by the ESFA we will be running a specific workshop which will consider:

  • All 14 Areas of Change proposed by the ESFA
  • The new required/recommended/discretionary rule requirements
  • The implications on Board Membership and the Terms of Reference
  • The Audit & Risk Management Committee – ‘do we/ don’t we’ and how should we approach it
  • The merits of an ‘Internal Audit Service’
  • The Funding Compliance Scrutiny Review

At the workshop we will consider the structure of governance, the implications for reporting arrangements and will share suggested draft material to help providers adjust to the new expectations.
