The Self Assessment Report remains a critical document in an Ofsted Inspection

The Self-Assessment Report in the FE and skills sector, gives providers’ the opportunity to evaluate and document their performance. The SAR is designed to allow providers to capture their strengths and areas for improvement and is a key reference point for Ofsted in inspection.
There is no prescribed format for producing the Self Assessment Report, but regard should be given to the most recent edition of the Ofsted handbook.
At this important seminar we will consider:
- the format, structure and content of the SAR
- the use of performance data to inform self assessment judgements
- the importance of capturing and evaluating stakeholder views
- techniques for effective quality improvement planning
We will look at how you can ensure your evidence is truly reflective of your practice and always identifies your current situation.
